1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Tarot Chats, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Tarot Chats provides personalized tarot readings for entertainment and self-reflection purposes. Our mystical readers generate interpretations based on traditional tarot wisdom and your questions. The service includes a free tier (a daily wallet of credits available to every member at no cost, which refills 24 hours after the member's first action each day and can be spent on any mix of readings and chat replies) and optional Premium tiers that unlock voice readings, extended card spreads, full reading history, and additional chat credits.

Important: Tarot readings are for entertainment purposes only and should not replace professional advice for medical, legal, financial, or mental health matters.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using Tarot Chats, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

4. Your Account

Your phone number serves as your unique membership ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. We collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Privacy & Data

Your phone number is your private membership ID - it's never shared, sold for 3rd party marketing, or used for unsolicited marketing. 5a. Premium Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

Tarot Chats offers optional Premium subscription plans (Premium and Premium Plus) and one-time credit packs that unlock additional features such as voice readings, extended spreads, expanded reading history, and extra chat credits. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you agree to the following:

• Payment processing. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide for the plan or credits you select, including any applicable taxes.
• Auto-renewal. Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will charge your payment method on file at the start of each renewal period.
• Cancellation. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you will retain Premium access until that date and will not be charged again.
• Free trial offers. If we offer a free trial, you may be required to provide a payment method. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
• Credit packs. Chat credits and other one-time purchases are non-refundable once delivered to your account, and have no cash value.
• Premium Plus credit rollover. Unused monthly chat credits included with a Premium Plus subscription stay usable for one additional billing month after the month in which they were granted. Any credits not used by the end of that extra month expire and are removed from your balance. The maximum chat-credit balance you can carry at any time is two months of your Premium Plus monthly allowance (for example, 1000 credits if your plan grants 500/month). Credit rollover applies only to Premium Plus monthly credits - chat credits granted to the Premium tier expire at the end of each billing period, and one-time credit packs follow their own expiry as shown at purchase.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price increase, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend Premium access until the payment is resolved.

5b. Refund Policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. Subscription fees and credit purchases are not refundable, including for unused subscription time, unused chat credits, or partial billing periods. To stop being billed, cancel your auto-renewal in Settings before the next billing date.

Exceptional circumstances. In rare and genuinely exceptional circumstances - for example, a prolonged outage that prevented you from using a feature you paid for, or a confirmed unauthorized charge - the Tarot Chats Editorial Team may, at its sole discretion, review a refund request on a case-by-case basis. To request review, email Contact@tarotchats.com within 14 days of the charge with your account details and a description of the issue. Granting a refund in one situation does not create any obligation to grant refunds in other situations.

Statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country, state, or region (including, where applicable, the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services).

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Share or republish readings without permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through the service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Tarot Chats, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tarot Chats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

10. Communications

By using our service, you consent to receive communications from us including service updates and notifications. If you opt-in to marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time through your Settings page.

11. Third-Party Services

Our service uses third-party providers including Anthropic (AI processing for tarot interpretations), Neon (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing for Premium subscriptions and credits), Google Analytics (usage tracking), Google AdSense (web advertising), Google AdMob (mobile advertising), and ElevenLabs (voice synthesis for voice readings). 12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
